Graham Smith enjoys a busy and varied freelance career as a double bassist, electric bassist, composer, arranger, and educator.  In 2016 he received his PhD from York University, and was awarded a prestigious SSHRC scholarship for his dissertation research.  He resides in Toronto’s Christie Pits neighbourhood with his wife, cellist Erika Nielsen.  When not focusing on music, Graham creates charcuterie for Charcuterie Toronto (@charcuterie_toronto, @CharcuterieTO).
